Thompson Building

The Thompson Building was a new steel building Holz and Henry was contracted to erect in Willow Grove, PA. An existing building had to be demolished to make way for a new 15,000 sf pre-engineered metal building house. The owner required a minimum 100′ clean span for their operations. Holz and Henry chose a Corle pre-engineered metal building to suit this need.

The scope of work involved an extensive site work package that included a detention pond, firewater service, upgraded electrical service, storm collection system, asphalt and concrete pavings and curbs, and landscaping. The building is abundantly insulated and also houses restrooms and office spaces. Also included in the scope were overhead doors, heating and ventilation systems, lighting and epoxy flooring.
